Tourism in Fier, the number of tourists has increased

The number of tourists visiting Fier's district beaches has increased significantly. The same situation has also seen the number of the foreign and domestic visitors to the archaeological parks Bylis and Apollonia increase.

The prefect of Fier district, Baki Bala, stated that the tourist season in Fier started several months earlier in Fier.

However, it is more recently that the known archaeological sites of Apollonia and Bylis have seen a dramatic increase in the number of foreign and domestic visitors.

Compared with the previous year, there is a marked increase in visitors of 20%, measured by the data of the archaeological parks, where on average 300 to 600 visitors are appearing.

The increase in the number of visitors and tourists is also evident along the entire 48km of coastline along Divjaka, Bedat, Seman and Darëzezë.

Measures taken to ensure standards of hygiene, potable drinking water and electricity infrastructure and road infrastructure are maintained, have brought a further increase in local and foreign tourists on these beaches.

This particular stretch of coastline is known for its curative values of the sand rich in iodine.

Every day the beaches of the Fier district are now being frequented by thousands of vacationers!
