Stop informality Action against informality will be strengthened by an app

The operational plan in the fight against informality will be accompanied by an application called ‘Stop Informality’, where all citizens will be able to denounce cases of violation of the law.

This was announced by Finance Minister, Anila Denaj during inspections in various businesses in Tirana.

“The application is called “StopInformality” and it is not just for our use, it's for the public.

“It will be an easy application and is an invitation that this app will be seen as a support to tax administration in several respects not only to denounce informality but also to advertise the different approach that the tax administration has to apply,” said Denaj.

Once again, Denaj stressed that the fight against informality will continue until full compliance with the law.

“We are open to looking at this as a bilateral relationship. We are open in this process to be together and to improve. But in relation to informality, we say stop.

“Let’s have the opportunity to look forward to the best and most honest report,” declared Minister Denaj.

Earlier, Denaj signed a memorandum with Croatia's Economy Minister, Darko Horvat, in the pharmacy, transport, tourism and energy sectors in order to increase co-operation between the two countries.

The Croat Minister said that the focus is not just on the increase of exports and imports between the two countries, but also the stabilization of Croatian investors in Albania.
