This summer, Tirana will be a station on the route of world music stars! At the festive concert held yesterday in "Skanderbeg Square", Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj said that some world-famous artists will come to the capital, performing for the Albanian public.

"This will be a fantastic summer for Tirana. Therefore, it is good that we go to the sea during the day, but in the evening we have to stay in Tirana because we will have endless activities. On May 9th, we will celebrate Europe Day with a super concert.

"On May 12th the Festival of Colors will be held at 'Mother Theresa Square', while the winner of the Italian vocal competition, Sanremo, Ermal Meta, will come on June 1," announced Erion Veliaj.

The mayor also announced that another important name will be in Tirana on June 3rd, who, like Ermal, is of Albanian origin.

"Rita Ora will be here on June 3. But, since you are so enthusiastic, I'm not telling you the other surprises of June and July. We will do our utmost to ensure that all artists on tour in Europe to have a stop in Tirana as well," said Erion Veliaj.

The head of the municipality stated that, in the same way that Tirana has seen a profound transformation these three years, the festive activities for revival of the artistic life in the capital will continue.

"Our dream is to continue this year as we have done these three years. It's a lot of work but also a lot of fun. Those who work hard want to play hard too," added Erion Veliaj.

Meanwhile, under the motto "Together with young people for an Albania that works", the Municipality of Tirana organized a concert yesterday at "Skanderbeg Square".

Some of the favoured voices of young people such as Ledri Vula, Arilena Ara, Yll Limani, Alban Ramosaj, Filloreta Raci, Argjentina Ramosaj and DJ Aldo sparked the stage yesterday evening at the biggest square in Albania with their modern music.
