SPAK Reorganized, Altin Dumani And Edvin Kondili Are Appointed Heads Of Sections

The Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office will operate with two special sections for the investigation of organized crime and corruption.

Prosecutor Altin Dumani has been appointed as the leader for the organized crime, who will also be the deputy director of SPAK. While the anti-corruption sector will be headed by prosecutor Edvin Kondili.

The head of the prosecution, Arben Kraja, emphasized that the reorganization is aimed at increasing the efficiency of the SPAK in investigating cases.

Six months after taking office, the special anti-corruption prosecutor's office has been reorganized into two sections, focusing on the investigation into organized crime and corruption.

After a meeting with the staff on Monday with the signature of the head of the prosecution Arben Kraja, the creation of two sections has been approved.

The organized crime sector will be headed by prosecutor Altin Dumani, who is also the deputy head of SPAK, while the anti-corruption sector will be headed by prosecutor Edvin Kondili.

These two names have previously run for SPAK leaders, presenting their platforms for the functioning of the institution.

Prosecutors Vladimir Mara, Behar Dibra, Ened Nakuci, Doloreza Musabelliu, and Elida Kaçkini have also been appointed in the anti-organized crime sector, while the Anti-Corruption Section to be run by Kondili, has appointed prosecutors Klodjan Braho, Enkeleda Millonai, Dritan Prençi, Sotir Kllapi.

SPAK suggests that the selection was made based on the need to increase the effectiveness of work and criminal prosecution.

The selection took into account the results at work, organizational skills, evaluation of ethical and professional performance, as well as seniority at work as a prosecutor, also all prosecutors approved the logo of the Special Structure Against Corruption and Organized Crime.
