Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati, after meeting with his Greek counterpart in Thessaloniki, praised the progress achieved at the negotiating team meeting last week for the maritime agreement. 

added that he is optimistic about the next meeting, which will take place in Athens.

"The negotiating teams will meet next week in Athens," said Ditmir Bushati.

According to him, they are also working on the mutual recognition of driving licenses, issues related to the land border, as well as some other bilateral issues. 

The head of Albanian diplomacy underlined that some aspects of the bilateral agreement are being implemented, while the rest of the issues are in the process of discussion.

Regarding the meeting between the two prime ministers Rama and Tsipras, Bushati said this will occur when there a final product from the negotiating groups has been realized.

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ditmir Bushati is in Thessaloniki for the third inter-ministerial meeting between Greece, Albania, Bulgaria and Macedonia. 

This was held in Thessaloniki yesterday and today, with the participation of the Foreign, Interior and Infrastructure Ministers of the four countries.
