The strong seismic oscillations did not pass without consequences even in Lezha. Due to significant damage, a state of emergency has been declared in this city as well.

Cracks in walls, floors and ceilings have affected dozens of dwellings as residents have abandoned their homes after notifying inspection teams that they are uninhabitable.

Some of them choose to spend the night in their vehicles, some have moved in with relatives, while the most courageous continue to live amid the destruction.

To date, the Municipality of Lezha has determines 81 buildings as uninhabitable. For those affected, the government has pledged accommodation in city hotels until the situation can be fully evaluated.
