CEC Rejects Democratic Conviction

The Central Election Commission has reversed the Democratic Opposition's complaints for the June 30th election while approving the results of Kamza and Korça.

The Commission left a deadline of Monday at 12 o’clock for the Democratic Conviction chair, Astrit Patozi, to fill out his appeal, as according to the deputy chair of the Central Election Commission, Denar Biba, all the requests have been copy and pasted, even mentioning the Kamza example where the results were approved a day after the submission of the appeal.

Meanwhile, the chair of CEC, Klement Zguri, said that on June 30th, their reasoning has to do with the uncertainty of the number of voters.

Even the Institute for Political Studies criticized the Central Election Commission, demanding more information as to what is happening with the June 30th voting process.

According to this institute, the data provided by the Central Election Commission is paradoxical.

The Central Election Commission’s decision states that 35,618 votes were found in the ballot box, out of which 2,089 were invalid, while the valid CECs announced that there were 38,479 vote or 2,861 votes more than the ballot papers found in the ballot boxes.
