Boating School In Albania

Out of Vlora, where he was present to attend the sailing race that took place today from the port of Vlora to the port of Orikum, Minister Blendi Klosi, announced that for the first time in Albania, they will open a new boating school to educate younger generations.

The minister stated: “Today is a very beautiful day, because 24 sailing boats will come from the port of Vlora and travel to the port of Orikum.

“This is part of the tourist attraction, but today, more than ever, the first boating school will be opened for children, to educate a generation who will work at sea.”

To promote this new initiative, the Minister believes there must be new fiscal policies regarding the approach of investments in Albanian ports and their use by various boats. Stating:

“We have worked with the Italian consulate to make it part of the Italian Cooperation in order to lend us support in taking lessons for the development of sea tourism, from the most developed industries in Italy.

“That is why we want our new strategy, what I call the sea economy, to get as much impulse from this daily life that is taking place right here today in the city of Vlora,”

Meanwhile, the mayor of Vlora, Dritan Leli, stated that Regata comes with a complete itinerary and even its own innovation.

“The excitement of offering the next-generation a sailing boat course, thus enabling children from the Municipality of Vlora, 9-12 years old, to learn about sailing boats and fall in love with the sea, can even enable more tourism potential for the future,” said Mayor Leli.
