He has received two open letters from the Prime Minister inviting him for dialogue with the majority, but instead the Democratic Party chair, Lulzim Basha, called a meeting with his opposition allies.

Sources told RTV Ora that part of the focus was on the current situation, but also the protest to be held on May 25.

It is expected that the Prime Minister will publish a letter to the Albanian citizens as well, though he remains steadfast in his stance to not commit to dialogue with PM Rama until he resigns as Prime Minister.

At the end of the meeting with Lulzim Basha, his allies avoided communication with the media, while the head of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Monika Kryemadhi gave a brief pronouncement.

“See you on May 25. Rama must go!”

A day before, Lulzim Basha said that the opposition has a National pact to put an end to the relation between crime and politics.
