The Democratic Party called upon the National Council to vote for leading bodies in the upcoming political battles, but Lulzim Basha also issued another message.

He said that the Democratic Party has a duty to restore trust among Albanians, while not promising miracles, but a normality that puts an end to criminality and boosts the economy.

Speaking to the new elected team, he said the ultimate goal is the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

According to Basha, the Democratic Party offers integrity and courage to overcome the current crisis of confidence.

In addition to voting for new leaders, the National Council Of The Democratic Party decided to blame the party's leading bodies with the organization of protests in order to remove the government of Edi Rama from power and to prepare for free and fair elections.
