Tirana's penal court has changed the security measure against Olsi Albajrami, who was arrested after Wednesday's protest in front of parliament.

The judges imposed a strict order on the 29-year-old from Elbasan to be present at his court session. He is accused of exercising violence against Police officers.

After the trial session, former Democratic Party MP, Luçiano Boçi, who was present at the trial, described Police actions as purely partisan in a statement released to the media.

The 29-year-old involved in the clash with protesters was reportedly wearing a black hood and allegedly infiltrated the protest after being bribed by police.

Albajrami has been charged with “Opposing a Police Officer”, “Duty-based Abuse” and “Dismissal of Public Serenity”.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the Court of Appeals left 7 other protesters in prison: Among them Florenc Hoxha and Dorian Protoduari.
