Tirana is carrying out the final preparations to host the third marathon edition, which will start on October 7th.
There are about 2500 participants of different age groups from 40 countries around the world participating in the biggest sporting event of the capital.
Road blocks will begin operation at 7 am tomorrow morning, with traffic expected to return to normal by 13:00.
This year's itinerary has seen the addition of the Artificial Lake Park, allowing the competitors to travel through some of the most attractive places in the capital.
The participants are divided into three categories, the half marathons in which the competitors will travel just over 21 km, the category of 10 kilometers, and a fun run to encourage non-competitive participation.
Sundays run see a mix of athletes and celebrities amongst the participants, while artistic and cultural activities have also been organized for the spectators.
