Today, the Democratic Party focused its attention many kilometers away from where the parliament was meeting, instead holding their own meeting in Vlora.
Crime rates, the economy, justice reform and the new theater were at the center of the discussions during the Opposition's meeting.
Lulzim Basha reiterated his position that there will be no faith in institutions or political leaders if the proposal for political vetting is not accepted by stating,
"Should this not be approved, at this final stage, it will become the responsibility of the citizens to reclaim their futures."
Basha offered no comment on the proceedings in parliament, which mainly focussed on the General Prosecutor, Arta Marku, who was presenting the annual report advising the performance of the General Prosecutor's Office.
The Socialist Movement for Integration leader, Monika Kryemadhi, also warned of strong oppositional, raising the possibility of protests.
Vangjel Dule was not sitting at the Opposition table, however, the Justice and Integration Party and Unity Chairman, Shpetim Idrizi, was present.
Idrizi stressed that the time has come for the opposition to give the people a chance to truly establish the rule of law.
