DP: The government has stolen 3.7 billion euros from albanians through PPPs

The blue headquarters has accused the majority of siphoning 3.7billion Euros from the state budget.

The corruption is accused of occurring through tender processes and Public Private Partnership schemes.

At a press conference, DP MP Agron Shehaj, a quick calculation will determine that this means that an average of 5000 Euros has been robbed from each and every Albanian family in the country.

"This government does not use tenders to build infrastructure, do not advise all international institutions, but creates partnerships because in this way the theft becomes bigger, slammed more and for a longer time.

"Suffice it to say; from over 200 partnerships that the Rama government has made, virtually none of those of significant value has been tendered with a Western company," said Agron Shehaj.

Shehaj promised that with the arrival of Democratic Party ruling, all abusive contracts will be reviewed.

"The annulment of all corrupt concessions will be the first act the Democratic Party will make when it will take the vote of confidence from the Albanians.

"Little is important in what Western advocacy office has occurred. It is not possible for a nation and a state to be held hostage by a group of politicians and oligarchs who are robbing the citizens," said Agron Shehaj.

According to the DP MP Agron Shehaj, foreign investors are leaving Albania because only businesses favored by Prime Minister Edi Rama can operate productively.
